Camus Masterpiece Cuvée 5.150The House of Camus has launched a limited edition cognac to celebrate 150 years of fine spirits making.
Part of the house’s prestigious Masterpiece Collection, Camus Cuvee 5.150 is crafted from five eaux-de-vie from five different crus: Grand Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, Fins Bois and Bons Bois. Each of the eaux-de-vie has a minimum guaranteed age: the Bons Bois Cognac for example, has 37 years minimum guaranteed age, while the Fin Bois boasts 22 years minimum guaranteed age.
The rich amber elixir is said to open with notes of vanilla, wood and spice, followed by hints of crystallised lemon. On the palate it is balanced and full, with milky vanilla, vibrant apricot and pear and sweet almond swirling around in perfect harmony with one other. The finish is tender and persistent.
A true collector’s item, Camus Cuvee 5.150 is available in a limited edition of 1492 bottles worldwide.
